1. What data we collect

To buy Grezzio, you provide an e-mail address to Gumroad (our payment processor and Merchant of Record) so your licence key and download link can be delivered. Logosphere does not run its own account system and does not store your payment details — Gumroad handles that under its own privacy policy.

This website counts visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. GoatCounter does not store IP addresses, the full User-Agent header or any tracker ID. It records the page visited, the referring site, browser and operating system, screen width, language and approximate location derived from the IP address. To recognise repeat visits, a combination of the site name, IP address and User-Agent is kept in memory for up to 8 hours and is not written to its database. We also count clicks on the trial download and on the button that leads to checkout. The data is stored on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Finland and Germany. We use it only to see how many people visit, where they come from and which pages and buttons they use, on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We would also like to know which of our adverts bring people here, and for that we use the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd). It only runs if you agree to it. Until you press “Agree” on the bar at the bottom of the page, nothing is sent to Meta and no cookie is set; your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. If you do agree, the pixel reports that a page was viewed, together with your IP address, browser and the page address, and it sets a cookie that lets Meta recognise the browser across sites. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in the UK). You can withdraw it at any time with the “Privacy choices” link in the footer — it takes the same one click as giving it. Meta processes the data as an independent controller under its own data policy, including transfers to the United States.

Apart from that, the website uses no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. Besides GoatCounter and the Meta pixel once allowed, it loads one external resource: the web fonts it is set in, served by Google Fonts.

2. How your campaign data is handled

Core design principle

Grezzio runs locally on your Windows machine. Your contact lists, templates and campaign data are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to Logosphere's servers — because Logosphere does not operate a server that receives them. If you enable AI-assisted personalisation, requests go directly from your machine to the AI provider using your own API key, not through us.

The program does reach the internet for four things, and only these: reading the open Overture Maps business dataset when you search for companies, checking whether a recipient's domain accepts mail, sending your messages through the SMTP server you configured, and checking once a day whether a newer version of Grezzio has been released.

That update check sends two things to our server: your licence key and the version number you are running. The server asks Gumroad whether the key is valid, and only then hands back a download link that stays valid for a few minutes. It keeps a record of the request — the date, the version number and a one-way hash of the key, not the key itself, and not your IP address — for no longer than 30 days. Nothing is downloaded or installed until you click; you can switch the check off in Settings, and then nothing about updates leaves your computer at all. Clause 10.3 of the licence agreement says the same.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your e-mail address and order details under the legal basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — it is necessary to deliver the product you purchased.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data Logosphere holds about you, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us directly.

5. Data retention

Order and e-mail records are retained only as long as required for tax and accounting purposes under Dutch law, and are then deleted. Records of update checks are kept for no longer than 30 days and contain no licence key and no IP address.

6. Third parties

Gumroad processes your payment and delivers your licence as our Merchant of Record. If you use AI-assisted features, your chosen AI provider processes those requests directly using your own API key. If you agree to the Meta pixel, Meta receives the visit data described in section 1 and uses it under its own data policy. Logosphere does not sell your data and does not share it with data brokers.

7. When you are the controller

The contact lists you build in Grezzio are yours, and for them you are the data controller. Grezzio gives you what that role requires: a mandatory source field on every list, a compliance report covering who, when, on what legal basis and from which source, permanent handling of opt-outs, and a one-address erase that also removes the message bodies sent to that person.
